...มหกรรมโคม ที่มากกว่าการเชื่อมโยงเศรษฐกิจสู่ชุมชน

“เริ่มต้นที่เดือนพฤศจิกายน ถือเป็นงานเปิดฤดูกาลท่องเที่ยว งานมหกรรมโคมลอยบ้านหนองโค้งและหัตถกรรมสันกำแพงจัดขึ้นทุกปี ซึ่งนักท่องเที่ยวที่มาเที่ยวงานนี้จะได้สัมผัสกลิ่นอายและบรรยากาศของชุมชนที่เป็นแหล่งผลิตโคมแห่งแรกของประเทศ และทุกวันนี้ยังคงมีการอนุรักษ์การทำโคมไว้ เพื่อให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้มาปล่อยโคมลอยสะเดาะเคราะห์ มาชมขบวนแห่จากหมู่บ้านต่างๆ ชมการแสดงวัฒนธรรม ถนนคนเดิน การประกวดแข่งขันต่างๆเป็นต้น

มีการสร้างความประทับใจให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยว โดยการนำเสนอภาพการอนุรักษ์ของชุมชนที่เป็นแหล่งผลิตโคมแห่งแรกของประเทศ และวันนี้ก็ยังเป็นแหล่งผลิตโคมคุณภาพดีที่สุดในประเทศอีกด้วย วัตถุประสงค์อีกอย่างคือการช่วยให้ชุมชนได้มีโอกาสขยับขยาย และมีการกระจายรายได้ในเชิงพาณิชย์ หรือส่งเสริมการผลิตเพื่อส่งออก รวมทั้งการออกแบบพัฒนาเป็นโคมชนิดต่างๆให้กลายเป็นสินค้าที่ตรงตามความต้องการของตลาด”

‘The Festival that goes beyond the enhancement of local economic’

The Festival is held annually in November, the beginning of the high season for tourism industry of Chiang Mai. Tourists and visitors enjoy the sightseeing and visiting of the very first Hot Air Balloon making village of the country which is well conserved until the current dates. The festival also comprises the fascinating activities such as hot air balloon launching (which is believed as the way to get rid of your bad luck), hot air balloon processions from villages, walking street, and various competitions.

Beside the tourism industry promotion, the festival is expected to promote the economic development of the local entrepreneurs by the enhancement of channels in distributing the local products ,as well as its reputation, to the perception of the world market.

เทศกาลร่มบ่อสร้างและหัตถกรรมสันกำแพง

“งานเทศกาลร่มบ่อสร้างและหัตถกรรมสันกำแพง จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกที ซึ่งตรงกับวันศุกร์ สัปดาห์ที่ ๓  ของเดือนมกราคมของทุกปี ณ หมู่บ้านบ่อสร้าง อำเภอสันกำแพง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่  เป็นงานที่เทศบาลเมืองต้นเปาร่วมกับชาวบ้านบ่อสร้าง และ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยจัดขึ้น ซึ่งกิจกรรมหลักภายในงาน ประกอบด้วย การจำหน่ายสินค้าหัตถกรรมแบบลดราคาทั้งหมู่บ้าน การประดับตกแต่งหน้าร้าน ซุ้มซอยและถนนสายบ่อสร้างด้วยร่มสีสันสวยงามการสาธิตการเหลาโครงร่ม การวาดร่ม การวาดพัด การแสดงทางวัฒนธรรม กิจกรรมถนนศิลปะสู่ชุมชนและถนนคนเดิน

ภารกิจของเทศบาลเมืองต้นเปา คือต้องค้ำจุนการจัดงานนี้ให้อยู่คู่กับตำบลต้นเปาและอำเภอสันกำแพง และภารกิจอันที่สอง คือ การกระตุ้นให้ชุมชนส่งต่อภูมิปัญญาสู่ลูกหลาน ต่อไป

Bor sang Umbrella and Sankhamphaeng Handicrafts Festival

          Held annually at every 3^rd week of January at Bor sang Village, Sankhamphaeng District, Chiang Mai Province, the festival under the collaboration of the local authority and Tourism Authority of Thailand comprises various interesting features such as handicrafts grand sales, storefront and village decorations using local handicrafts, umbrella and parasols processing demonstration, umbrella and fan paintings, cultural events, street of arts, and walking streets.

          This festival is considered by Tonpao Municipality, who take charge for the organizing of the events for years, as the key priority under the concerns of transferring and conserving of this cultural heritage to the next generation.

มหัศจรรย์ล้านนา เมืองกระดาษสาบ้านต้นเปา

...จากเยื่อปอสา สู่กระดาษล้ำคุณ-ค่า

“งานมหัศจรรย์ล้านนา เมืองกระดาษสาบ้านต้นเปา จัดขึ้นในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ของทุกปี ณ หมู่บ้านต้นเปา อำเภอสันกำแพง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เทศบาลฯ ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญด้านการท่องเที่ยวตามนโยบายรัฐบาล      จึงได้ให้การส่งเสริมสนับสนุนเพื่อเป็นการพัฒนาและเพิ่มรายได้ของประชาชนในชุมชนทุกปีตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๗  เป็นต้นมา  กระดาษสาสืบทอดมาตั้งแต่สมัยก่อตั้งอาณาจักรล้านนา งานนี้เหมือนเป็นการประกาศว่า ที่นี่เป็นปฐมแห่งการผลิตกระดาษสา เหมือนกับที่บ้านบ่อสร้างทำร่ม บ้านหนองโค้งที่ทำโคมเป็นแห่งแรกของประเทศ นักท่องเที่ยวที่มางานนี้จะได้รู้ได้เห็นทุกอย่างที่มีเกี่ยวกับกระดาษสา ตั้งแต่ประวัติความเป็นมา ขั้นตอนการผลิต เรื่องของกลิ่นอายวัฒนธรรมนับร้อยๆปี ความเป็นเส้นทางสายไหม รวมทั้งจะได้รู้ว่า ปัจจุบันกระดาษสาสามารถพัฒนาการเป็นสินค้าระดับโลกได้

Baan Tonpao Mulberry Paper Festival

          ‘from mulberry trunk to a precious paper’

                    Since 2004, the Festival which held annually in February at Tonpao Village, San Khamphaeng District, Chiang Mai Province, is aimed on the tourism promotion to locals in accordance to the government’s policy ,and to elevate the local citizens’ income, as well as to announce the reputation of the village as the origin of mulberry paper of the country to the world. Sightseeing the village, learning the century long history and visiting the mulberry paper production venue, are the memorable experiences visitors would gain from this festival.

ประเพณีสรงน้ำพระธาตุ ห่มผ้าพระนอนแม่ปูคา

...สืบสานศรัทธาบุญ ค้ำจุนวัฒนธรรมล้านนา

พระป้านหรือพระนอนแม่ปูคา มีพระพุทธรูปปางไสยาสน์ที่สวยงาม  ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่ชาวต้นเปาเคารพนับถือ สมัยก่อนมีประเพณีสรงน้ำพระนอน แต่ไม่มีการสืบทอดเป็นประเพณีที่งดงาม ปัจจุบันได้มีการรื้อฟื้นงานประเพณีสรงน้ำพระธาตุ ห่มผ้าพระนอนแม่ปูคา ขึ้น เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลและดำรงรักษาไว้ให้คงอยู่ต่อไป การจัดงานสรงน้ำพระธาตุ ห่มผ้าพระนอนแม่ปูคา จะจัดในช่วงกลางเดือนมีนาคมของทุกปี มีมหรสพสมโภช มีกิจกรรมทำบุญสืบชะตา มีการจัดขบวนแห่ของแต่ละหมู่บ้าน และงานวัฒนธรรมอื่นๆ

วัดพระนอนแม่ปูคาถือเป็นวัดที่มีความศักดิ์สิทธิ์มาแต่ครั้งโบราณ คือ ตามตำนานเล่าว่า ประมาณปี 2,200 สถานที่แห่งนี้เคยเป็นที่ประทับแรมของพระพุทธเจ้า ต่อมาชาวบ้านนิมิตเห็นว่าตรงนี้เป็นสถานที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ จึงได้ร่วมกันสร้างวัดพระนอนขึ้นมา ต่อมาพระครูบาเจ้าศรีวิชัยซึ่งท่านเป็นนักบุญแห่งล้านนาธุดงค์มาพบ ท่านจึงได้ร่วมกับขุนเปาเปรมประชา บูรณะฟื้นฟูวัดและสร้างวิหารครอบพระนอน จนกลายเป็นวัดที่พุทธศาสนิกชนนิยมมาเคารพกราบไหว้  ใครที่แวะเวียนมาบ่อสร้างก็จะแวะเข้าไปสักการะพระนอนแม่ปูคาเสมอ

Holy Bathing to the Pagoda, and Covering of Sacred Cloth Ritual to Reclining Buddha Image of Mae Pukah Temple

          ‘The Lanna traditional rituals to lengthen the life of religion’

 For years, people of Mae Pukha Villages have been working together under their strong efforts to revitalize and to conserve the traditional ceremony of Holy Bathing to the Pagoda, and Covering of Sacred Cloth Ritual to Reclining Buddha Image located in the community’s temple. Annually, the event is organized in March with variety of interesting features such as the celebrating events, life lengthening rituals, villagers’ procession for the invitation of devotions and offerings, and other cultural events.

Wat Phranon Mae Pukha ,where the mentioned pagoda and Buddha Image located, has a long history in accordance to the Buddhist’s chronicle. It is believed that the Pukha’s ancestor established the temple in this area in commemorate to the significant days when Lord Buddha visited and took his rest in this area. The ancient temple were once renovated under the collaboration of Khrubaa Sri Wichai , the great Buddhist Lord of northern Thailand, and Lord Prem Pracha, the famous elite of the old period of that area. The sacred hall was constructed as the shelter of Reclining Buddha Image which once located outdoor. Nowadays, the temple is a must for whom visiting Borsang to visit and worship to the famous Reclining Buddha Image.
